Project overview
This was my final project for the Master’s in Web Design. The concept was to cover the entire process of creating a website—from the initial briefings, moodboards, and wireframes in Figma, to the final design, development with WordPress, and delivery of the finished product.
The "what"
The project involved the complete development of the brand identity and building a web platform from scratch. The mission was to design an authentic and cohesive digital environment that would seamlessly showcase musical content, enable merchandise sales, share news, and incetivise effective interaction with the fan community.

The "why"
The main goal was to unify content distribution, product sales, and fan interaction within a single platform. By integrating music, storytelling, and e-commerce into a cohesive environment, the project aimed to deliver a streamlined user experience that also reflected the personality of the artist/client (in this case, myself). Centralizing music and merchandise in one channel also made it easier to convert listeners into online customers.
The "how"
I started by designing user flows in FigJam, which were then translated into low-fidelity wireframes that captured the functionality and purpose of each section. Each iteration was validated through feedback sessions with real users and self-evaluations (assuming the client role), allowing me to optimize the information architecture and content layout.
Once the layout was finalized, I implemented the designs within the WordPress environment, ensuring accessible and intuitive navigation across all pages. Finally, I optimized the entire site for mobile and tablet devices, refining interaction details and performance to deliver a consistent and seamless user experience.

Conclusions
I applied User-Centered Design and Design Thinking principles to structure tests using low-fidelity prototypes, ensuring the experience addressed real user needs. Incorporating storytelling elements into the case study—such as “aha moments” and anecdotes from the creative process—enhanced the connection with the product and helped communicate the reasoning behind each design decision, highlighting key UX/UI communication skills.
Simultaneously taking on the roles of Client and Designer boosted my empathy and critical thinking, allowing me to anticipate friction points and transform direct user feedback into concrete solutions. This approach improved decision-making and ensured higher quality results. Customizing tools and functions through CSS, along with adapting and configuring multiple WordPress plugins, strengthened my problem-solving skills and flexibility—essential abilities for projects of this nature.
Finally, managing the entire project within a two-week sprint taught me how to prioritize critical tasks—from definition and wireframing to prototyping and development—and maintain a sustainable workflow focused on delivering a polished, user-centered digital experience. The result is a website I’m very proud of, showcasing my capabilities and skills in UX/UI design.
